Be a Friend of the Millet Public Library The "friends" are an advocacy group, separate from the Library Board and the Library Staff. We raise funds for projects that are not able to be met in the library budget. As you know libraries are non-profit organizations and funds for projects have always been a challenge. With help from the Friends our library is able to do much more within our community. We can provide official tax receipts for any donations over $20.00, be it financial or otherwise. ...
Cash donations are always appreciated! Friends are able to give a tax receipt for donations over $20.00 Books, videos, DVD's & CD's are accepted for Drop Off except dated encyclopedias, atlases, legal and medical materials, and text books. Books may be added to the Library collection, sold for revenues to purchase new books or donated to a charitable or non-profit organization. Contact The Library to inquire about specific items.
